About us

We opened Dogs 'n' More Boarding in 2009 to provide pet owners in the SE Minnesota area with a local, caring, and affordable place to leave their pets any time they needed to.  We offer flexible drop off and pick up times by appointment along with customized service.  Our goal is for you to enjoy your time away from your pet without worrying about them.

Location
We are conveniently located 2 miles east of Stewartville on Hwy 30 and only 10 minutes from SE Rochester with easy access via County Road 20 which can be accessed at the SE corner of Lowe's.

Facility
An existing machine shed was converted into a boarding facility with 13 indoor kennels, each with a dog door to the 8,000 sq ft outdoor run area.  This area is enclosed by a 6 foot tall fence and divided into 6 areas that provides an area for dogs to do their business and play around. The kennels are insulated and climate controlled year round. 

In 2018 an additional 9 kennels were added in a separate building to maintain the small kennel feel.  They share the same 6 outdoor areas but this building also contains 750 sq ft of indoor play area and 7,000 sq ft of enclosed space in a sand filled riding arena.

Hours
Drop-off and pick-up is available by appointment between the hours of 6:30 am to 8:00 pm Mon-Sat and 1:30 to 8:00 pm on Sun.
